Summary
I think we may want to do a couple more things in addition to this.
It makes sense to me that we would move the selection to be the range of blocks that the menu is trying to cover (it is hard to tell what the menu is referencing, and if the selection was visible I think it would make it easier).
There also seems to be an issue of scrolling to the wrong position when the menu is first opened. I think we should only try to scroll if it is actually out of bounds or something
