Addons: 4K Images, Videos, Collections and More!

To reduce download size, the base theme includes only essential assets.
Optional addons (4K images, videos, console arts, wallpapers, etc.) can be installed separately.

📦 Addon Structure

/themes/ckau-book          → Main theme directory
/themes/ckau-book-addons   → Addons directory (not overwritten by ES updates)

💡 How to Install Addons

🐧 Addons manager (Only for Batocera)

You can install and update addons automatically using the included script:

tools/install-addons-batocera.sh

This script provides an interactive menu for managing all official addons (4K images, videos, console arts, wallpapers, etc.).
It also supports command-line usage and will automatically keep track of installed versions.

🪟 Manual mode (Both for Batocera and Retrobat)

Currently there is no automatic installer for RetroBat. Batocera users can choose to use manual mode too.

In this case, addons must be downloaded manually from the corresponding GitHub repositories:

Addon	Description
COLORFUL 4K Images	High-detailed, beautiful 3840x2160 system images
COLORFUL Video Pack	Gameplay videos for each system
CINEMATIC Video Pack	Full-screen cinematic system view
CONSOLES / WALLPAPERS	Console or wallpaper-based layouts

Support for Additional Systems

In addition to covering all systems in the latest version of Batocera/Retrobat, the theme also supports extra systems not officially included (e.g., Aleck64, Amiga 600/4000, Casio Loopy, Dragon 32, etc.).
