@imprisoner, when I run that stackblitz it works as I would expect. Can you give more information as to what exactly is not working?
By default there are 6 heading levels and toggle headings are enabled, this restricts it to 3 heading levels and disable the toggle headings. So, this seems to me to be working as expected.

I will close for now, but I will re-open if you show what was not expected for you

Prop that sets the allowed heading levels don't work. You can put any values into an array, and call slash menu - 1, 2 and 3 heading levels always present. Maybe I misunderstanding the purpose of this prop?

OK, thanks for specifying the problem. The problem here is that the slash menu keeps showing the heading levels 1,2,3 whether they are allowed by the schema or not.

This isn't true, for heading levels 4, 5, 6 they are in a separate section and you may just not be seeing them since they aren't contiguous with the other headings. See this for example, where it is working as expected:

My bad, I couldn't see this in case of presenting another sections :) Subheadings section is almost at the bottom of menu
